Would make the street-sleeper of the century if it was stuck on some G60 steelies!!
A week is a long time in dubs and the last week has been just that. with not a lot doing the rounds of the forums and yours truly up to my eyeballs in work, no posts. Until I noticed this post on Dubforce.net.
Its a bunch of videos posted by Slateford. Maximum kudos for that, this post alone should surely waste and evening for you.
Matt
As seen on the vortex this is a G60 ---> 20v project. looks like the buy is taking time and doing a sweet job too.
just a few things confuse me though...
1. the car wears a uk registration in the first pics. (best pics are on pages 1 3 and 5 by the way). and a us rear plate further down.
2. the guy chats as if hes an american. so im guessing he is an american but why the uk car? it was a g60 so it can't have been uk original. why not just do this to an american car?
either way, its a hell of a car and good luck to the guy.

An attempt to get next year canned, before its even happened. By someone who barely reads the mags, let alone turns up to the local meets.
Disclaimer: The following article is a list of things that might or might not happen. Its all personal opinon and its all my opinon. And just to reinforce that it might not actually come true I've got cream wing mirrors, so wtf do I know about the Dub Scene? ;)
Well, here it is. the first and definitive list of whats going down in 2006. I fully expect none of the following hot items to happen.
1. Simon Sweetland will debut his car for the third time with a raft of changes. Everyone will wow at aforementioned raft of changes. At shows Simon will park in the middle and there will be a massive crowd of people all blinded by the enginebay. (Can you chrome a piston?)
2. 2006 is going to be the year that Euro Look comes back. (Did It ever go away?) Smoothed everything, slammed suspension and phat rims are gonna come back (Did they ever go away?).
3. I might actually finish that G60 that I keep going on about. Yeah, right. I've got more chance of winning the lottery that I dont enter.
4.There will be a third Modified VW only mag to go alongside PVW and Golf+. Everyone on Edition 38 forum will slate it. It will be quite good.
5. Club Gti's new site will be launched. It will rock. (I know the web developer so this one a sure thing!). It will rock (I'll say it again). I'll change Dubforce yet again solely because the Club Gti site is leagues ahead of Dubforce. There will still be next to no content on the Dubforce site. Again. (Can you see a pattern forming?)
6. I'm feeling a revolution in none-Golf models throughout the show scene. Look out for more Polo's, 1-7, wow as more and more corrado's get pimped and see even more estate sport (all together in a peter kay accent - "estate? sport? not in my lifetime") passat's debut.
7. Uber-Tub might actually get the MK2 Project(ile) back on the road. I say might loosely. Specially now hes bought a mars red mk1!
8. David_H will put yet another awesome front end on the westside site. One or more of the westside boys will release another cover car. Might even be David's mk2 which I'm fairly sure will rock harder than Ozzy and a cage of live bats. Proof indeed that we're all just playing catchup to the westside boys.
Well thats it. Feel free to either
a> print it out and tick off the items as and when they happen. If they happen before august, but me a pint.
B> print it off and use it to ridicule me at the shows next year as each and every item fails to happen.
Oh yeah, Happy New Year reader! ;)
